Terms and Conditions to the Thames Water Trial Free Prize Draw
This free prize draw is open to customers of Thames Water Utilities Limited (“Thames Water”) who are over 18 years old and have participated in the visit-and-fix water household water saving audit and subsequently returned their household customer diary to eaga water services, but not to employees or agents of Thames Water (or any other subsidiary company of Thames Water Limited) or any other company connected with the prize draw.
- No purchase is necessary to enter this prize draw.
- Entry into this prize draw signifies acceptance of these terms and conditions.
- The closing date and time for receipt of entries to the prize draw is 11.59.59pm on 16th May 2008.
- Entries received after the closing date will not be eligible for entry into the free prize draw.
- No responsibility can be accepted for entries lost, damaged or delayed in sending.
- The draw will take place on 30th May 2008. The winner will be the person on the first valid entry drawn.
- Thames Water will endeavour to notify the winner in writing within 14 days of the draw. The winner must either collect the prize or accept delivery of it on or before 18th July 2008. If the winner cannot be contacted and/ or fails to collect or accept delivery of the prize after this date, then the prize will be withdrawn and no longer be available.
- Entrants accept that if they win, Thames Water will have the right (without additional payment or permission) to use their name and likeness for the purposes of announcing the winner and the winner may be required to participate in reasonable post event publicity.
- The name of the winners can be obtained by sending a stamped, self addressed envelope to eaga Water Services, Archbold Terrace, Jesmond, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE2 1DB between 18th July 2008 and 31st August 2008.
- Entries will only be accepted by receiving a household water audit and completing the household water diary then returning the diary to eaga Water Services, eaga plc, FREEPOST NAT13708, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE2 1ZL.
- There are 3 prizes of a Bosch or Zanussi water efficient, washing machine or dishwasher up to the value of £350 from www.iguanadirect.co.uk and 10 prizes of £100 worth of High Street vouchers. No alternative prize will be offered. Thames Water reserves the right in the event of unforeseen circumstances to either award an alternative prize of equal or greater value, or to change, modify or cancel this prize draw.
- The promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- This prize draw shall be governed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
